Technocrat Foundations

Formed by Engineers for Demanding Engineering

Founded in 1983 by two distinguished mechanical engineers, Shrikant Date and Arun Vaze, Vivek Engineers emerged from a shared commitment to deliver uncompromising quality in precision machining for India's burgeoning automotive corridor.

Founding Technocrats

Shrikant Date — B.E. Mechanical

Brought over 4 years of rigorous machine shop operations and tooling experience from Mahindra & Mahindra.

Arun Vaze — B.E. Mechanical

Brought proven expertise from Kirloskar Pneumatics and XLO Machine Tools before leading Vivek Engineers' marketing division until his retirement in 2008.

Upon Mr. Vaze's retirement in 2008, Mr. Sandeep Joshi (B.Com, MBA) came aboard to direct Finance and Accounting.

Founded by Two Technocrats

Formed by Shrikant Date (BE Mechanical with 4 years machine shop experience at Mahindra & Mahindra) and Arun Vaze (BE Mechanical with experience from Kirloskar Pneumatics and XLO Machine Tools).

1983

Shop Floor Established in Chinchwad MIDC

A 6,000 sq. ft. dedicated shop floor was established on a focused scale with precision lathes and general-purpose tooling machinery.

Within six months

Early Customer Expansion

Kirloskar Oil Engines and Ruston & Hornsby became customers within six months, followed by Bajaj Auto and Tata Motors.

1990s

Defense Sector Supply & Ammunition Factory Khadki

Registered with Ammunition Factory and High Explosive Factory at Khadki for high-precision machinery spare parts supply.

1990s

Approved Vendor for Tata Motors Auto Division

Officially enlisted as a regular production supplier to the Auto Division of Tata Motors for critical engine, axle, and transmission components.

2000s / 2008

Robust Growth & Financial Restructuring

The company grew steadily during the 2000s. After Arun Vaze retired in 2008, Sandeep Joshi joined to handle Finance and Accounting.

2010 onwards

Global Exports to France & Netherlands

Successfully carried out export contracts for medical equipment parts to United Care (Netherlands) and Kremlin Rexson (France), and modular construction parts to Layher (France).

Pan-India Supply Across All Tata Motors Plants

Achieved pan-India supply of critical automotive assemblies for Tata Motors plants at Jamshedpur, Lucknow, Pantnagar, Dharwad, and Pune under IATF 16949:2016 certification.
